Smart Safety Devices

Smart Safety Devices for Elderly Living

Smart safety devices give the caregiver eyes and ears on the home without taking away the senior's independence. We focus on devices that are simple to use, with a clear physical button or wearable, and we set up the caregiver side so alerts actually reach a phone that someone is watching.

SOS ALERT

Devices we install and set up

  • Emergency SOS panic buttons — wall-mounted near the bed and the WC, or as a wearable around the neck or wrist.
  • GPS trackers — for users who go out alone, with a separate option for users at risk of wandering.
  • Home security cameras — placed for caregiver visibility while preserving the senior's privacy in private spaces.
  • Door and motion sensors — notify a caregiver when the front door opens at unusual hours or when there is no movement during the day.
  • Lifting devices — powered hoists for bed-to-wheelchair transfer, installed where there is suitable overhead structure.

Set-up that actually works

Many smart devices fail in practice because the alert chain is not set up. We pair the device, test the alert path to a real caregiver phone, and walk through the actions the caregiver takes when the alert fires. We also test battery life and offer a simple maintenance schedule.
